Friends of Côte d'Ivoire (FOCI) is a non-profit organization whose members are Returned Peace Corps volunteers (RPCVs) and staff who served in Côte d'Ivoire, Ivorians living in the U.S., and other people with an interest in Côte d'Ivoire. FOCI was founded in 1995 by a group of RPCVs as a way to help RPCVs fulfill the third goal of the Peace Corps Mission - to educate Americans back home about the culture and the people with whom we lived and worked. FOCI also provides a way for its members and donors to help the Ivorians who gave us so much during our time in Côte d'Ivoire. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
