 Scholarships for girls

FOCI is preparing to sponsor scholarships for several girls at the Lycee Moderne de Bouafle. With FOCI members' help we anticipate that we can support several needy candidates to enable them to finish high school. The actual scope of the project will depend upon many factors but the hope is to support several girls each year over the next few years.Stay tuned for more news as the initiative develops.

 WID Scholarship

The Women in Development Scholarship Program was created in 1997 by Peace Corps Volunteers to address gender inequality in access to secondary school education.
The scholarship program provides disadvantaged Ivorian girls with textbooks, tuition, and room and board for their entire secondary education.
